N.B. man inducted into Alumni Hall of Fame

North Brunswick resident David Barnhard has been inducted into the Woodbridge Township Alumni Sports Hall of Fame. At the Pines Manor, Barnhard was honored for his accomplishments in football, wrestling and track and field. A nine-letter winner, the 1979 graduate of Colonia High School currently holds over 15 records. He achieved All-County status, and at Upsala College, East Orange, earned All-American recognition.

S.B. Seniors plan

coastal cities bus trip

The South Brunswick Seniors are planning a trip to Ocean City, Maryland, Cape May and Atlantic City. This four-day/three-night trip will take place on June 4-7 at the cost of $287, per person, double occupancy. Single occupancy is available for an additional $75. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended. The cost includes round-trip motorcoach transportation, deluxe hotel accommodations, seven meals, guided tours, ferry ride, trolley tour, mansion tour, casino coin bonus and casino buffet.

Rocky Hill Fire Co.

to hold craft fair

The Little Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Co., between Kingston and Kendall Park in South Brunswick, will hold a craft fair on April 8, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tables cost $15. Refreshments will be available. Interested vendors may call (732) 297-0478.

Students art and poetry

on display at S.B. library

The Middlesex County Arts High School’s traveling Student Art and Poetry Exhibition is on display in the Young Adult corner of the South Brunswick Library throughout the month of March. This display includes a sampling of the poetry, painting and drawing done by the artists who attend the Arts High School, including students from the South Brunswick area. Legion to host March 17

St. Patrick’s Day dinner

The American Legion Post No. 401 will hold an all-you-can-eat corned-beef dinner on March 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. Adults cost $9; seniors $8; children 5-10 years, $5; children under age 5 are free.
