LIBRARY OFFERS FREE INCOME TAX HELP Free volunteer income tax assistance will be offered every Monday from noon-4 p.m. and every Thursday from 2-6 p.m. through April 17 at the Red Bank Public Library. VITA volunteers, trained by the IRS and the New Jersey Division of Taxation, help people with basic tax returns. No appointment is necessary. To facilitate the preparation of the returns, taxpayers should bring with them this year’s federal and state tax packages if received in the mail; all forms showing income, such as W-2s and 1099s; information on other income, deductions, and credits; and copies of last year’s tax forms. A selection of federal and New Jersey State tax forms and publications is available at the library throughout the tax filing season during regular library hours. The library is located at 84 W.
