Hazlet rec sets registration for music lessons Registration is now accepted for Hazlet Recreation’s musical instrument lessons for children ages 6 through 17. Participants may register for basic piano or guitar lessons. Classes will be held from 9-10 a.m. on Saturdays for piano and from 10-11 a.m. on Saturdays for guitar, beginning April 8. A $5 fee will be charged for registrations taken after April 7. All classes will be held at the James J. Cullen Center in Veterans Memorial Park on Union Avenue, Hazlet, and will continue for 10 weeks. Keyboards must be battery operated. Rental/purchase information will be available at the first session. Parents may register children at the recreation office located in the center. Cost of the program is $25.
