EWING — John “Bud” Micklewright, 78, died April 27 at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Micklewright retired from Princeton Medical Center after many years. He was part owner of Leedom Lumber Yard, Yardley, Pa., and M&R Building Specialist, Ewing. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
Son of the late Albert and Helen Crisp Micklewright, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vivian J. O’Donnell Micklewright; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. John of Ewing and David and Jacqueline Micklewright of Lawrenceville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Andrew Halko of Yardley and Sandra and David Holcomb of Watsontown, Pa.; a sister, Louise Landis, and a brother, Richard, both of Oregon; five grandchildren, Andrew, Rochelle and Laura Halko and David and Mark Micklewright; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Monday at Incarnation Roman Catholic Church.
Private burial was in Ewing Cemetery.
