Edward J. Ostrowski Sr., 82, died Sunday at Tandem Health Care Center, Lawrenceville.
Born in Trenton, he was a Trenton and Lawrence Township area resident.
Mr. Ostrowski was a self-employed carpenter in the Trenton area for more than 40 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II serving with the 1262nd Headquarters Co.
Son of the late Joseph and Anna Pazden Ostrowski, and brother of the late Alexandra Zegarski, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary B. Slabicki Ostrowski; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Edward J. Jr. and Karen J. Ostrowski of Lawrenceville; a sister, Genevieve Szubrowski of Lehighton, Pa.; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Ostrowski, Christine and Joseph Calla; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.
Funeral liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.
Burial will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Ewing.
Calling hours will be 8:30 a.m. until service Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
