Marcia Sternberg of Lawrenceville died May 3 at home. She was 65.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in Lawrenceville 38 years.
She was formerly employed in the advertising department of The Princeton Packet and later with the archeology and ethnology departments of the New Jersey State Museum.
Daughter of the late Harry Tartalsky, she is survived by her husband, John Sternberg; mother Florence Ruben Tartalsky of Asbury Park; sons Jim Sternberg of Mill Valley, Calif. and Jeffrey Sternberg of Wilmington, Del.; daughter Hilary Gilbert of Nashua; and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held Friday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrenceville, with Rabbi Morton Rosenthal officiating. Burial was in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park in Ewing.
