Alsie DiBoise Mongiello

HIGHTSTOWN — Elsie DiBoise Mongiello, 75, of Hightstown passed away May 3 at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa.
Born in Trenton, she resided in Hightstown for over 60 years. More recently she resided in Millstone Twp. before moving to the Rossmoor section of Monroe Twp. Mrs. Mongiello and her family have owned Mom’s Peppermill, Old Yorke Inn and Coach & Four Restaurants. She was formerly involved in many local and civic associations and activities.
She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Joseph L. Mongiello; sister of the late James DiBoise; she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marie Elena and James W. Pierson and Jennifer M. and Jack E. Fisk all of East Windsor; two sisters, Elizabeth Johnson of East Windsor and Mary Jensen of Reading, Pa; one brother, Albert DiBoise of Newport Richie, Fl; two granddaughters, Danielle E. Fisk and Tara M. Pierson; four grandsons, James J. and Christopher D. Pierson and Corey J. and Jonathan P. Fisk; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown.
Interment followed at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
