WEST WINDSOR Dr. Emanuel R. Occhipinti, 60, died Saturday at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Princeton Junction.
Dr. Occhipinti had a dental practice the past 30 years in Rahway and in Hamilton.
He was a member of the American Orthodontist Association, Mercer County Dental Society and Jasna Polana, Princeton.
He was a graduate of Rosselle High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania Military College in Chester, Pa., his D.D.S. from Temple Dental School, and specialized at the New York University School of Orthodontistry.
Son of the late James Occhipinti, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dolores DePasquale Occhipinti; two sons, Dr. James Occhipinti of New Brunswick and John Occhipinti of Princeton Junction; two daughters, Jill Occhipinti of New York City and Julie Occhipinti of Alexandria, Va.; his mother and stepfather, Anna Orrei and Anthony Squillace of Monroe Township; a sister, Constance Habhegger of Whippany; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral was held 8 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
Calling hours were held 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
