Nirupam Anand

   CRANBURY — Nirupam Anand, 22, of Cranbury died March 1 in the Helene Fuld Medical Center, Trenton after a brief illness. Funeral services were held by the Crabiel Memorial Funeral Home, 202 Stockton St., Hightstown on March 2nd at the Franklin Memorial Park Crematory. Final disposition will take place in India.
   Born in New Delhi, India, Mr. Anand came to the United States in 1996 settling with his family in Cranbury. He was a 1998 graduate of the East Windsor/Hightstown High School. He received many awards throughout his high school career including the prestigious “Rosie Award” in Television Production. At the time of his death, Mr. Anand was a communications major at Mercer County Community College. He was elected a class senator by the student body of the college in 1999.He worked at the P.J. Acme Store and had been a member of the C. J. Hindu Association.
   Surviving are his parents, Jaswant and Vijay Sareen Anand of Cranbury; his brother; Anupam Anand of Cranbury, his maternal grandmother; Satyawati Sareen of India, and numerous other family members.
   He will be remembered for his ready humor, humility, kindness and extraordinary generosity.
