MANVILLE — Mary Ann (Devero) Niezgoda died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at her daughters’ home in Audubon.
Born in Passaic she lived most of her life in Manville before moving to Audubon. She was 89.
She worked as a housekeeper for a family in Brooklyn, N.Y. and when she moved to Manville, she worked as an assembler at the former Diehl Manufacturing Corp. in Bridgewater. She also worked as a waitress and kitchen worker at the Martinsville Inn and most recently was a vendor at the Neshanic Flea Market.
Mrs. Niezgoda was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and a member of its Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Niezgoda in 1983; two sisters, Catherine Devero and Elizabeth Kleyo; and four brothers, John, Joseph, Steve and Frank Devero.
Surviving are two daughters, Lucy A. Niezgoda of Audubon and Marie R. Monteagudo of West Orange.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Tuesday, May 16, at Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
