HIGHTSTOWN — Myrtle A. Harrington, 93, died May 18 at Applegarth Care Center.
Born in Wilkes County, N.C., she was a longtime area resident before moving to St. Petersburg, Fla., and then Hightstown 11 years ago.
She was a member of Central Methodist Church, Mooresville, N.C., the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks, St. Petersburg, and First Presbyterian Church.
Wife of the late William B. Harrington, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William L. and Lynda S. Harrington of Hightstown; a sister, Stella McBee of Statesville, N.C.; a sister-in-law Elvis Anderson of Statesville, N.C.; a granddaughter, Rennie J. Harrington; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral was held at Calvin Funeral Home, 494 E. Plaza Drive, Mooresville, N.C.
Burial was in Willow Valley Cemetery, Mooresville.
