MANVILLE — Sophie Ulman died Monday, May 22, 2000, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. She was 85.
Born in Pennsylvania, she lived in Manville for the past 70 years.
Mrs. Ulman was a seamstress employed at Franbe’s in Manville, retiring in 1980.
She was a communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
Her husband, Joseph Ulman, died in 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Polak of Manville; three sons, Joseph Jr. of Florida, Richard of Somerville, and Norman of Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, May 25 at Ketusky Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at Christ the King Church.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at the funeral home.
