To the editor:
Lawrence Council No. 7000, Knights of Columbus would like to thank all who helped make our annual drive to benefit children with special needs a success. The drive was held April 28-30 at Lawrence Shopping Center to raise funds for local schools and agencies with special education programs. A combination of great weather and the generosity of shoppers helped to make this one of our most successful drives in recent years.
All of the funds collected are being donated to the special education programs of ARC-Mercer, COSAC, Sister Georgine School, Holy Cross School, Our Lady of Fatima School, and New Jersey Special Olympics. We are grateful to the management of Lawrence Shopping Center, Acme, First Union Bank, and Manhattan Bagel for allowing us to use their locations in this important annual event. We thank all of our neighbors who contributed to this worthy cause and our volunteers who donated their time.
We look forward to another successful drive next year.
