TRENTON — Janina Cierniak Wozniczka, 71, died Sunday, May 21, at home.
Born in Buczkow, Poland, she came to the U.S. in 1974 and lived in Trenton since that time.
She retired in 1994 after 16 years with Carter-Wallace Pharmaceutical Co., Trenton.
She was a member of St. Hedwig’s Rosarian’s Group 2.
Daughter of the late Makary and Magdalena Daniol Cierniak, wife of the late Stanislaw Wozniczka, sister of the late John and Frank Cierniak, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Elizabeth Wozniczka of Lawrenceville and Henry and Elizabeth Wozniczka of Ewing; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Stella and Jerzy Pietranik of Yardville and Bernadette Staniec of Robbinsville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Anna and Stanley Kobos and Stefania Chmara, all of Ewing; two sisters-in-law, Maria and Leokadia Cierniak of Ewing; eight grandchildren, Anita, Peter, Monica, Mark, Arthur, Paul, Joanna and Thomas; nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Wednesday, May 24, at Winowicz Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
Funeral liturgy was at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Trenton, with the Rev. Father Felix Schabowski officiating.
