MANVILLE — Zenon A. Pidhajecky died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. He was 53.
Born in Engelstadt, Germany, he lived in Astoria Queens before moving to Manville 20 years ago.
Mr. Pidhajecky was a computer engineer at Radio Shack of Hillsborough for eight years. He had previously worked at Collins Radio, a division of Rockwell Engineering in Hoboken.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Irene "Renee" Pidhajecky; a son, Damon of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; his mother, Katherine Pidhajecky ; a stepdaughter, Denise Kassick of Monmouth Junction; a brother, John of Brackney, Pa.; and a sister, Nadia Pihaj of San Pedro, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, at Speer Van Ardsdale Funeral Home, Somerville, followed by a Mass at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Millstone.
