TRENTON — Richard A. “Ricky” Allen, 33, died May 26 at Rancocas Hospital, Willingboro.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Allen worked for Something Special Catering. He was employed for a short time as a welder and also worked at Princeton Nassau Inn.
He was a member of Wayne Avenue Baptist Church.
He was educated in the Trenton public schools. He graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1985. Mr. Allen graduated with a certificate in welding from Mercer County Community College.
Son of the late Frankie B. Allen, he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Efrian Manso of Willingboro; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ursula Allen Turner, and Nicole and Troy Lee and a brother, Frankie B. Jr., all of Lawrenceville; his maternal grandparents, Ed and Beulah Bennett of Wadesboro, N.C.; his paternal grandmother, Annie Ruth Staton of Trenton; two aunts and uncles, Margaret and Roscoe Jones of Willingboro, Cordelia M. Staton and William B. Allen of Trenton; five nieces, Tatiana, Tatoya, Valajah, Valiyah Vakaylah; a nephew, Javon; and other relatives.
Funeral was May 31 at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church, Trenton, with Rev. Nathaniel Benjamin officiating.
Burial was in Ewing Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
