HAMILTON — Joan B. Knutson, 68, died Monday, May 29, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Hightstown, she was a longtime area resident.
She was a school teacher in Texas and East Windsor and past executive director of Hightstown-East Windsor Chamber of Commerce.
Daughter of the late Prescott F. and Grace W. Barrett, wife of the late William H. and sister of the late Robert, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey W. and Kara Knutson of Warner Robins, Ga.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Laurie K. and John C. Hunter of Washington Township and Tammy L. Knutson of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Lauren Clare and Gregory B. Hunter and Mechela Lynn and Eric P. Knutson; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mercer Street, Hightstown, with the Rev. James R. Egan, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
