Louis F. Rampino, 80, died Saturday at the Park Place Center.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Kendall Park for the past 40 years. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a graduate of Pace University, and retired in 1982 as treasurer of the Golden Eagle Mutual Life Insurance Company, Brooklyn, after 30 years. After retirement, he was employed in the comptroller’s office of Princeton University and at Express Press, Hightstown.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen; a son, Robert Louis of Kendall Park; a daughter, Mary Ellen Martin of Edison; two granddaughters, Katie and Lauren Martin; a brother, Charles, and a sister, Antoinette Giacalone, both of Brooklyn. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Entombment followed at the Clover Leaf Park Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visitation was Tuesday .m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New Jersey Chapter, 12 Roszel Road, Princeton, NJ 08540.
