School board hires new
business administrator
SOUTH RIVER — District officials have chosen a new business administrator for the second time in two years.
The Board of Education hired Kenneth Kokoszka as the new business administrator last month.
Kokoszka will replace Dayton Faunce.
The board began searching for a new business administrator after Faunce announced that he would be leaving the district in May.
Faunce, who served as the district’s business administrator for a year and a half, has taken a position in the West Long Branch School District.
Kokoszka, who lives in Sayreville, served as the business administrator for the South Amboy school district since 1994.
Prior to that, Superintendent of Schools John Ambrogi said Kokoszka worked in the banking industry for more than 10 years.
"[Kokoszka] has all the experience the board was looking for in a business administrator," Ambrogi said.
