Guzman pitches, bats way to win

Twin Rivers Mens 30-&-Over Softball League

   Winning pitcher Edwin Guzman had three hits, scored one
run, and had two runs batted in including the game-winner in the bottom of
the ninth, as the Outlaws rallied past Scotto’s Pizza 6-5 in the Twin
Rivers Mens 30-&-Over Softball League. Mike Lubrano had two hits and two
runs and the game-tying RBI, driving in Eric Unger from first base. Roger
Lipman had two hits, and Frank Koretsky sparked the defense.
   Frank Paparelli, Rick Cannon, and Eric Leibowitz all had
three hits, and winning pitcher Al Bernstein two, as Americana Diner
defeated Sew Creative, 13-8.
   A 20-hit attack powered George’s Garage to a 10-1 win
over Dr. Goodman. Bruce Diamond had four hits, and Jay Kornsgold, Peter
Yuhas, Steve Grunwerg, Keith Bogen, Ron Bruh, Craig Ferst and Frank Trulby
two each. Steve Zelinsky was the winning pitcher.
