East Windsor PAL was defeated in the opening game of the
District 12 Softball Tournament for 12 years olds by West Windsor, 13-10.
East Windsor had taken an 8-1 lead after three innings.
East Windsor scored four runs in both the first and third innings.
Kimberley Stout had two hits, two runs scored and two RBI
for East Windsor. Alita Ficarro had three hits, including a run-scoring
single in the first inning. Samantha Lambert doubled in a run in the third.
Christine Sisk had a single and a run scored. Theresa Conner had a hit and
two runs scored.
East Windsor was scheduled to be back in action Thursday (July 6) at Millstone
