MANVILLE — Grace Fidler died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. She was 78.
Born in Ashland, Pa., she moved to Manville in 1959.
Mrs. Fidler was employed as a seamstress early in her life before becoming a full time wife and mother.
She was a communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
Her husband, John Fidler, died in 1984; and a daughter, Mary Anne Fidler, died in 1954.
Surviving are a son, John C. of Manville; a daughter, Mary Sopko of Manville; a sister, Theresa Aaron of a Manville, with whom she lived; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services are being held Thursday, July 13 at St. Joseph’s Church, Ashland, Pa. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Ashland.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 11 at Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville.
There will also be visitation from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 12 at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland.
