The Red Bank Elks Lodge No. 233 recently hosted its second annual "Charity Bowl-a-Thon," under the direction of Richard Schnieder, our event chairman, at Memory Lanes in Shrewsbury to benefit New Jersey Elks Camp Moore in Haskel.
The event raised more than $1,000 for disabled children.
Richard Schnieder, who received a heart transplant over three years ago, made a promise to the donor’s family to work for charity the rest of his life, and he is doing just that.
The businesses contributed products and services to this event, which included food, products for the Chinese auction and live entertainment.
The Red Bank Elks Lodge would like to thank all those who made this event possible, and especially Memory Lanes co-owners Dusty Baldwin and James Paustian for the donation of their facility.
