New Jersey State Honey Queen Justina Puvel (r), 15, Jacobstown, presided over Sunday’s Honey Harvest at the New Jersey Museum of Agriculture in North Bruns-wick. Visitors had the chance to observe the museum’s live observation hives with more than 30,000 honeybees at work inside, talk with expert beekeepers and see the special suits and hats they wear. At left, Justina points to the queen bee, the only queen that is ever in a hive. All the other bees are female worker bees.
