Rec commission plans
trip to Yankee Stadium
The Hazlet Recreation Commission will sponsor a bus trip to Yankee Stadium to see the Yankees vs. the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on July 23.
The bus will leave the library overflow parking lot at 11 a.m. for a 1:05 p.m. game. Cost is $37, which includes bus transportation. Seats are located in section 33, rows A through E.
Tickets may be purchased at the recreation office located in the James J. Cullen Center in Veterans Memorial Park, Union Avenue, Hazlet. Payment will be accepted by check only.

Vietnam Vets group to
hold monthly breakfast
Bayshore Area Chapter 721 of Vietnam Veterans of America is resuming its monthly breakfast buffet on July 16 from 8 a.m. to noon at Keyport Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4247, Third and Waverly streets.
Cost is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for children under 12. This fund-raiser is held the third Sunday of each month. For more information, call the chapter’s hot line at (732) 203-1900.

slates 40th reunion
