Gethsemane Church
offers preschool camp
Good News Christian Preschool, a ministry of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Keyport, is offering a Preschool Summer Camp for children ages 3-5. The camp theme is "Dollars," and runs Aug. 1-24 from 9-11:30 a.m., with "Lunch Bunch" from 11:30 a.m. to noon, held at the church on 60 Maple Place. Scheduled are two- and three-day programs (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Behavioral Healthcare hosts summer benefit
CPC Behavioral Healthcare, Red Bank, will hold its summer benefit "Celebrating 40 Years of Caring" July 28 at 7:30 p.m.
The event, entering its 19th year, will be held at the Hollywood Golf Club, Deal. Tickets are $200 per person, and cash raffle tickets are $100 each (winner need not be present). The price includes cocktails followed by dinner and dancing to the music of the band Fresh, with an appearance by Valerie Dowd of Rumson.
A cash raffle, and live and silent auctions will be featured. Auction prizes include a weekend in Washington, D.C., including a private tour of the White House. The silent auction will feature "Celebrity Bears" wearing T-shirts signed by Bruce Springsteen, Kevin Costner, Carol Burnett and Kirk Douglas.
