Charter school will present on progress
The Liberty Schools Foundation is sponsoring an
outreach presentation Aug.
8 on the progress of
Liberty Academy Charter School’s
Year 2000 application.
The meeting will begin at 7:30
p.m. at the multipurpose room in
the Municipal Complex. This
meeting is open to all who want to
hear about the new charter school
application and or get involved
with the application committee and
the proposed school.
Charter schools are paid for
with public tax money but operate
independently of local boards of
education.
The current charter school application will include
fifth through
eighth grades for a new independent middle school in
Hillsborough.
