Brooklyn-born Yankees fan

EAST WINDSOR – Vivian Shapiro Kane, 60, died July 25 at
The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in New York City before
moving to New Jersey.
She was a homemaker and a fan of the New York Yankees.
Daughter of the late Phillip and Dinah Kane and sister of
the late Herbert, she is survived by her former husband, Morris Shapiro of
East Windsor; a daughter, Donna Shapiro of Hamilton; a son, David S.
Shapiro of East Windsor; a sister, Sydell Lazerson of Englishtown; a
brother, William of Queens, N.Y.; nieces and nephews, including Marcia
Lazerson; cousins, and friends.
Graveside service was held July 28 at Knollwood Cemetery,
Brooklyn.
