UPPER FREEHOLD – Shirley Lewis Day, 74, died Aug. 2, at Virtua Health-Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mount Holly.
Born in South River, she was a longtime resident before moving to Cream Ridge many years ago.
She was a member of Hedding United Methodist Church.
Wife of the late William C. and mother of the late Susan Olaff, she is survived by a daughter, Debra Jean Day of Cream Ridge; a sister, Janet Kovac of Virginia; three grandchildren, Denise Olaff and William and Ana Maria Day; a great-grandchild, Christian Bulow; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Monday in Bordentown, with the Revs. W. Garey Hope and Neill Tolboom officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Roebling.
