Work on East Windsor Village Shopping Center began with a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday

Work on East Windsor Village Shopping Center – the 250,000 sq. ft. retail plaza on Rt. 571 at One Mile Road – began with a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday. Taking part in the event were Township Council members Perry Shapiro (left) and Hector Duke (far right), Deputy Mayor Walter Daniels, Anthony Mazzucca and Carl Freedman of developers Freedman and Associates representatives, and Mayor Janice Mironov. The center is expected to open in July, 2001, with a Target Department Store, T.J. Maxx clothing store and Genuardi’s Grocery Store.
