What do you think of the proposed LOSAP program?

The Lawrence Township Council has introduced an ordinance that, if passed, would place a question on the November ballot asking voters if the township should provide its emergency and fire volunteers with a pension plan. The program, called the Length of Service Awards Program (LOSAP), is already in place in Cranbury Township and Hightstown Borough. This week’s Hot Topics question is:

Why do you think Lawrence volunteers should or should not be granted a LOSAP benefits program?
