CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Katherine A. Finnegan, 87, died July 28 at Sortori Memorial Hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a longtime Hopewell, N.J., area resident and lived in Lawrenceville, N.J., before moving to Cedar Falls.
She worked with Rockwell Manufacturing Co., Hopewell.
She was an Army veteran of World War II.
Daughter of the late Conrad and Mary Krug Ackerman and wife of the late George C., she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine F. and Robert Martin of Cedar Falls; a sister, Marianna Corbett of Lawrenceville; and a grandson, Andrew Martin.
Graveside service was Aug. 15 at Highland Cemetery, Hopewell, with the Rev. Ralph Stancley officiating.
