MANCHESTER TWP. – John A. Nicoll of Manchester Twp., 91,
died Aug. 16 at Pittman Manor, Pittman.
Mr. Nicoll was born in Passaic and lived in Passaic,
Wyckoff and Hightstown, coming to Manchester Twp. in 1974.
Mr. Nicoll was a salesman for J. W. Shuster & Son,
Plainfield for 15 years retiring in 1974.
He was a member of Fidelity Lodge #113 FAAM, Ridgewood.
He was past president of Hightstown library. He was a 20 year member of
Wyckoff Vol. Fire Comp. #2 and former Elder of the Hightstown Presbyterian
Church.
He was the husband of the late Audrey Nicoll and brother
of the late Robert Nicoll. He is survived by one son, Richard, Monroe Twp;
one daughter, Roberta Walker, Newport Beach, Ca; one sister, Elsie Hayton,
Falkville, Ala.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Aug. 18 at 8 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell
Funeral Homes, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753.
Burial will be Aug. 19 at Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood at
10:15 a.m.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
at the funeral home.
