   On July 21, Nicolette McDermott of Chinle, Arizona was issued a summons for improper passing, police said.
   At 7:29 a.m., a 1996 Frieghtliner truck driven by George Joe III was stopped at the red light on Route 130 north at the intersection of Farnsworth Avenue, when Ms. McDermott drove her 1990 Dodge Caravan up the shoulder and stopped beside Mr. Joe’s vehicle, police said.
   When Mr. Joe began turning right the trailer his vehicle was pulling stuck Ms. McDermott’s vehicle, police said.
   Eduardo Hurtado Jr., of Bordentown was issued a summons July 25 for careless driving following a motor vehicle accident, according to police reports.
   The accident occurred on Route 206 at the Crosswicks creek border at 7:16 a.m., police said.
   Police said a 1993 Lincoln driven by Alan L. Lesky of Shamong was northbound in the right lane on Route 206. Mr. Hurtado was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway and began to merge out into the right lane, police said.
   Mr. Lesky said that he moved over to the left lane to avoid a collision. However, Mr. Hurtado also continued to merge into the left lane, police said.
   According to police, Mr. Lesky braked to avoid a collision, but both vehicles collided. Mr. Lesky’s vehicle then struck a concrete curb and left the roadway, police said. His vehicle came to rest on the grass median, police said.
   According to police, both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
   On August 2 at 8:01 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by vehicle driven by Andrew E. Walachy of Roebling, police said.
   According to police, Mr. Walachy said he was driving onto Groveville Road from Route 206.
   Mr. Walachy said prior to East Drive, he heard a bang and looked in his rearview mirror but saw nothing, police said.
   He stopped his vehicle and walked back to where he heard the bang and saw Dana Annocenzi, of Bordentown, lying on the front lawn of 7 Groveville Road.
   Mr. Walachy told police he then ran back to his vehicle and dialed 911 to report the accident, police said.
   When police arrived, Ms. Annocenzi stated that she was tired. But police said she was unaware that she had been struck by a vehicle.
   Police checked the vehicle and found damage to the front passenger side head lamp and the top of the hood.
   Chesterfield Emergency Squad responded and transported Ms. Annocenzi to Helene Fuld Trauma Center for further evaluation and treatment, police said.
   According to police, Ms. Annocenzi’s family members arrived and accompanied her to the medical center. Police said summonses have not been issued.
   On August 6 at 4:16 p.m., police were dispatched to Shop-Rite on Route 206 in reference to a shoplifter in custody, police said.
   While police were en route to the call, the suspect, Regina L. Davis of Trenton, attempted to leave by ramming a shopping cart into Shop-Rite security officer John Lubitsky, police said.
   While struggling with Ms. Davis, Mr. Lubitsky was bitten on the right forearm, police said. According to police, Ms. Davis attempted to take seven bags of seafood valued at $160 by concealing them in her own bags.
   Ellyn Smith of Waterville, Maine was issued a summons for careless driving on Aug. 7 at 11:36 a.m., police said.
   Police reported Ms. Smith said she had just exited the New Jersey Turnpike onto Route 206 north and was changing lanes to make a left onto Dunns Mill Road. Ms. Smith did not see a 1992 Jeep driven by Susan Adams of Bordentown.
   Ms. Smith caused an accident in the left lane on Route 206 north, police said. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage but were able to be driven from the scene. No one was injured.
BORDENTOWN CITY
   Police are investigating the theft of CDs and equipment from a vehicle parked in the rear of a business on Route 130/206 southbound on Aug. 3 at 4:16 a.m., police said.
   According to police, the perpetrators broke a window to the vehicle to gain entry and losses are reported to be approximately $1,400.
   According to police, William Wintermute Jr., 36, of Bordentown City, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and not wearing a seat belt on Aug. 10 at 10:44 p.m.
   Mr. Wintermute was stopped at the corner of Mary and Second streets for exceeding the 25 mph speed limit. Police reported they noted he had been drinking. He was released to a friend pending court later this month.
CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP
   Police were dispatched to Davenport Drive for a trespassing complaint Aug. 14, police said.
   According to police, upon arrival on the scene, police were approached by an off-duty state trooper who informed police that he had been asked to watch a residence by the owners who were on vacation.
   The trooper said a juvenile was in the house all day with his friends and that he was told by his parents that he was not allowed on the property without their permission.
   The trooper told him the residents instructed him to call the police if he saw their son entering the house, police said.
   Police approached the garage of the residence and the juvenile was yelling that he wanted everyone to leave his house, police said.
   A woman whose son also was in the house told police that juvenile’s parents no longer had custody of him and he was not permitted to be inside the house, police said.
   Police asked the juvenile what he was doing in the house, but he continued to yell at everyone to leave his house, police said.
   The juvenile than ignored a request from police to remain in the garage until the investigation was complete, police said. Police repeated the request and when the juvenile ignored it a second time, the police attempted to take him into custody for obstructing the investigation, police said.
   According to police, while attempting to place handcuffs on the juvenile, he pulled his hands away, making the situation unsafe for police and others. He was taken into custody without injury, police said.
   Police said they were able to make contact with the juvenile’s grandmother who has custody of him.
   Statements were taken from witnesses on the scene and an attempt was made to contact the homeowners who were in Florida, police said.
   Juvenile Probation was contacted and given the circumstances of the incident and felt the violations were not serious enough to warrant commission to Johnstone Detention Center, police said.
   The juvenile was processed for two violations and he was released to his grandmother.
