Enjoyed crocheting and sewing

HIGHTSTOWN – Evelyn M. Bowman Bernard, 91, passed away August 17 at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Sunapee, N.H., she lived in Hightstown for over 60 years.
Mrs. Bernard enjoyed crocheting and sewing and her many grandchildren.
Wife of the late Leo L. Bernard for 55 years, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jerri and Barry Barclay of South Brunswick; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Louis N. and Vaera Barry of Hamilton and Arthur Bernard of Hightstown; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral was hled at Glackin-Saul funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown.
Interment was at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
