Evelyn M. Bowman Bernard, 91, of Hightstown died Thursday at the Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Sunapee, N.H., she resided in Hightstown for more than 60 years. Ms. Bernard enjoyed crocheting and sewing and her many grandchildren.
Her husband of 55 years, Leo L. Bernard is deceased. She is survived by one daughter, Jerri Barclay of South Brunswick; two sons, Louis N. Barry of Hamilton, and Arthur Bernard of Hightstown; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Hightstown. Interment followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
