John Petsko, 79, died Aug. 30 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Chestnut Ridge, Pa., he was a longtime Lawrenceville resident.
He retired as an electrician from Lockwood Motor Co., Hamilton.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Lawrence Post 3022 and American Association of Retired Persons.
Husband of the late Elizabeth Frances Lyons Petsko and brother of the late Michael Sokol, he is survived by two daughters, Patricia Steinbacher of Lawrenceville and Michelle Reynolds of Fredricksburg, Va.; a sister, Ann Taft of Brownsville; a friend, Mary Ferrara; and cousins.
Funeral was Sept. 2 at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, with clergy from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church officiating.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
