To the editor:
On Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. on the 12th of September, the Lawrence Township Growth and Redevelopment Committee will host its fourth annual Community Forum in the lower conference room of the Lawrence Township Municipal Building located on Route 206 just south of the I-95/295 overpass. I strongly urge all local business owners and concerned citizens to attend this important event. This is your opportunity to hear from our township representatives and voice your ideas and concerns on economic growth and redevelopment. Our council members, board members and committee members need your input!
This year’s presentation will feature a Business to Business forum that focuses on small business in Lawrence Township. Topics will range from state and county small business programs and opportunities to the recently designated Lawrence Redevelopment District. Guest speakers include Mr. Donald Addison of the Mercer County Office of Economic Development, Mr. Andrew Link, Office of the Business Advocate, Mr. Johnathan Gershen, vice-chairman of the Lawrence Planning Board, and Mr. Michael Powers, chairman of the Growth and Redevelopment Committee.
A question and answer panel featuring our guest speakers, as well as local officials Mr. William Guhl, municipal manager, Mr. Robert Minutoli, director of planning and redevelopment, and Mr. William Erney Jr., fire marshall and construction official, will follow the evening’s presentations. I strongly encourage all local business owners and concerned citizens to take advantage of this unique opportunity to provide input and obtain answers from our local officials to assist you in your business goals and objectives.
In closing, again I would invite all local business owners and concerned citizens to come out and support this important community event. We need your input and ideas! Help us to help you, and together we will continue to make Lawrence Township the prosperous, healthy and beautiful community we all know.
