SOUTH RIVER — Two borough men were arrested Friday for stealing merchandise from a local business.

South River residents, Eugene Smith and James Coon, both 19, were arrested and charged with theft, burglary and criminal trespass of the Ecko Unlimited warehouse, Martin Avenue, the night before the arrest.

According to police, the two men allegedly rode bicycles to the warehouse at about 11:37 p.m. Thursday.
