Builders are ready to launch assault on Marlboro’s master plan
Flopping about like a live, wet fish that has fallen to the kitchen floor, the Marl-boro Township Master Plan struggles to find some semblance of integrity
It once again appears to stand ready to succumb to the influences of the "rezoning cliques" who are seeking to satisfy their ravenous appetite for extensive, ongoing Marlboro residential developments.
What appears to be flourishing on your enemy front lines and in sight of their victory, is the troika consisting of the hidden forces of developers, the outrageous unfair restraints of affordable housing restrictions and, always joined at their hip, "builder’s remedy," the court’s packaged gift to developers.
Is there no hope for the future? Of course there is always hope. It should begin with the rank-and-file Marlboro citizenry demanding that the "powers that be" stop chewing at the Master Plan like vultures in an effort to subvert its integrity.
Attend Planning Board and Township Council meetings and exercise your First Amendment rights in a defined and vigorous protest mode.
