   BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP – Carolyn Barbara Hammons, 75, died Sept. 27 at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hamilton.
   Born in Piscataway, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to Bordentown in 1962.
   She enjoyed writing poems and short stories.
   Daughter of the late Francesco Barratta and Francesca Imanuele Barratta and sister of the late Carl Barratta and Rose Shipley, she is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward M.; two daughters, Terry Sadley of Fieldsboro and Michelle Miller of Roebling; a son, Michael J. of Queens, N.Y.; three sisters, Sally Colburn of Piscataway, Mary Angelini of Sparta and Antionette Marino of Metuchen; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
   Funeral and calling hours were private.
   Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
   A memorial service was held at Jacobstown Baptist Church, Jacobstown-Arneytown Road, North Hanover.

Anna Tomosi
   ROEBLING – Anna Tomosi, 86, died Sept. 27 at home.
   Born in Nyirbel, Hungary, she was a lifelong resident of Roebling.
   A homemaker, Mrs. Tomosi was a member of the Holy Assumption Church and its Altar Society and a member of the Holy Assumption School PTA.
   Wife of the late Michael Tomosi Jr., she is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Maria Tomosi of Roebling, Edward and Carol Tomosi of Burlington Township, and Michael Tomosi of Laurel Springs; five grandchildren, David, Paul, Richard, Steven and Courtney; and three great-grandchildren.
   The funeral was held from Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Roebling.
   Funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Assumption Church followed by burial in the parish cemetery.
Frank Ricigliani
   NORTH HANOVER – Frank Ricigliani (Rigelon), 78, died Sept. 29 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Trenton, he was a Jacobstown resident 22 years.
   He had worked in security and previously retired as a machinist from Ajax Engineering, Trenton.
   He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
   Mr. Ricigliani was a member of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, New Egypt, and Disabled American Veterans.
   He enjoyed boating and animals.
   He is survived by his wife, Estelle Zinker Rigelon; three daughters, Dora Minch of Bordentown, Estelle Meisner of East Windsor and Frances Bistram of Hamilton; a son, Frank of Hamilton; a sister, Mildred Corti of Yardville; a brother, Phil of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Assumption Roman Catholic Church, New Egypt, with the Rev. Joseph Farrell officiating.
   Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Dole Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Edward G. Majoros
   ROEBLING – Edward G. Majoros, 81, died Oct. 2 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Pennington, he was a lifelong resident of Roebling.
   Mr. Majoros was employed for 24 years as General Foreman with John A. Roebling (C.F.& I.), Roebling. He also worked for U.S.X. Corp. in Fairless Hills, Pa.
   He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, with the 401st bomb squadron in England and Germany.
   He was a graduate of Fordham University with a B.S. in business, was a member of Bucknell Jr. University Army Air Force Alumni, Bishop Griffin Assembly 0655 Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus Council 570, Willitts Hogan Tonne American Legion Post 39, Roebling, Opre Larson V.F.W. Post 8838, Roebling; former member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling; Association of Iron and Steel, American Society for Metals, B.P.O.E. Lodge 2085, Burlington County Country Club.
   In his earlier years Mr. Majoros was active in Burlington county and central New Jersey baseball leagues, also playing basketball and football.
   He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling.
   He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen Zitnick Majoros; a son, Edward M. Majoros of Hamilton Township; three brothers and a sister-in-law, George Majoros of Robbinsville, Michael and Celia Majoros of Glen Burnie, Md., and John Majoros of Roebling; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
   The funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Oct. 6 at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling with the Rev. Francis Walter officiating.
   Burial will be in Holy Assumption Cemetery, Roebling.
   Friends may call 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Nickolas O. Borota
   ROEBLING – Nickolas O. Borota, 80, died Thursday at Cranbury Center, Monroe Township.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Borota resided for the past 60 years in Roebling.
   He retired as a furnace operator from John A. Roebling & Sons C.F.& I. Corp., Roebling with whom he was employed for 34 years.
   He was a U. S. Army combat veteran. He served in the battles of the Ardennes and Rhineland.
   He was awarded the Purple Heart.
   He was a member of St. Mary’s Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling and he enjoyed gardening.
   He is survived by his wife, Diane Suliman Borota; three daughters, Kelly Borota of Roebling; Tina Borota and her fiancee, Brett Search of Cream Ridge; and Nicole & Raymond Schleckser, Jr., of Woodbridge; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Roebling.
Evelyn Hammell
   BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP – Evelyn Hammell, 81, of Burlington Township died Sept. 26 at Rancocas Hospital, Willingboro.
   Born in Burlington, she lived in Florence before moving to Burlington Township 19 years ago.
   Daughter of the late Thomas and Myrtle Bozath Edge, she was the wife of the late Paul Hammell.
   Mrs. Hammell retired as a clerk for Fauver’s General Store, Florence after 20 years.
   She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Florence, member and past president of the ladies auxiliary of Francis W. Robbins American Legion Post 194, Florence.
   She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dall T. and Debbie Hammell of Asheboro, N.C.; a sister, Ruth Sutphin of Long Beach Island; a brother, Thomas Edge of Burlington Township; five grandchildren, Kasandra Richardson, Edward Hammell, Monica Boyd, Nicole Hammell and Dall T. Hammell Jr.; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held from Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Florence with Rev. Fred Capwell officiating.
   Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence Township.
Cecelia Bobrofsky
   SOUTHAMPTON – Cecelia Silvestri Bobrofsky, 72, died Sept. 26. at Deborah Heart & Lung Center, Browns Mills.
   Born and raised in Florence, she moved to Southampton three years ago.
   Mrs. Bobrofsky retired in 1995 as a waitress and food handler with various area restaurants.
   She was a member of St. Clare’s Church and its Altar-Rosary Society, Florence Township Chapter of Deborah Hospital, and Florence American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 194.
   She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; a daughter, Eleanor Ward of Southampton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daryl and Lucy Bobrofsky of Florence and Leon of Burlington; and five grandchildren, Erik Ward and Kimberly, Charity, Tyler and Dillon Bobrofsky.
   The funeral was held from Dennison Funeral Home 214 W. Front St., Florence.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Clare’s Church., with the Rev. Felix F. Venza, pastor, officiating.
   Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Florence.

L. Arlene Marinelli
   YARDVILLE – L. Arlene Marinelli, 69, of Yardville died Sept. 29 at Capital Health System at Fuld Hospital.
   Born in Philippi, W. Va., she had resided in the area for the last 41 years.
   She worked in the accounting department for Cyanamid and retired in 1991.
   She was a member of the Groveville senior citizens.
   Sister to the late Arthur and Hartsel W. Burner, Ruby Winans and Dorothy B. Garrison, she is survived by her husband, Nicholas Marinelli of Yardville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Michael Amantia of Hamilton Township and Donna and Joseph Fontanazzi of Bordentown Township; one sister, Martha Andrick of Philippi, W. Va. and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were Wednesday at Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
   Burial followed at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
   In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 339 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, NJ 08505.
Peggy Burke
   SILVER SPRING, Md. – Peggy Burke, 64, died Sept. 23 due to injuries caused when a metal object crashed through the window of the car she was driving and hit her in the head.
   She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Burke, Mary Elizabeth Burke, Linda & William Parker; four sisters & brothers-in-law, Betty Ann Burke of Bordentown; Maida Burke of Bordentown; Sheila and Donald Giberson of Bordentown; and Anita and Lenny Ricasoli of Bordentown; and one grandchild, Evan Scott Parker.
   Funeral services and interment were held in Maryland.

Mitrosky
   TABERNACLE – Christopher J. Mitrosky, 21-month-old son of Gregory E. and Lisa Bocchini-Mitrosky, died Sept. 29 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
   Grandson of the late Armando Bocchini, in addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Ernest J. and Doris Mitrosky of Hamilton; maternal grandmother Antoinette Bocchini of Columbus; and an aunt, Carla Lanzoni of Absecon; and great-aunts and great-uncles.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at The Church of the Holy Eucharist, Tabernacle.
   Rite of Committal was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport.

Mildred A. Hillman
   HAMILTON – Mildred A. Hillman, 95, died Sept. 30 at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
   She was the owner of several area restaurants.
   Daughter of the late Ellsworth J. and Ella Sweeny Robbins; wife of the late Rudolph O. Hillman; mother of the late Bill, Robert, Donald and Richard Hillman, Nancy Elsesser and Barbara Grezenda; and sister of the late Vincent Robbins, she is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Herbert and Dee Hillman of Bordentown, Charles and Ruth Hillman of Hamilton, and Hanx and Joann Hillman of Hamilton; six daughters and two sons-in-law, Evelyn Rose of Trenton, Joan Fabrizo of Florida, Freda Creek of Texas, Patricia Phillips of Greenburg, Pa., Audrey and David Leese of Robbinsville and Carol McElhaney-Mendicino and Alessio Mendicino of Yardville; 44 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
   The funeral was held at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, with clergy from St. Vincent DePaul Church officiating.
   Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Helen M. Donahue
   HAMILTON – Helen M. Donahue, 80, died Sept. 30 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
   Born in Trenton she was a lifelong area resident.
   She retired after 32 years as a lithograph printer with St. Francis Medical Center.
   She was a member of Holy Angels Church and its Rosary Altar Society and Mount Carmel Guild; the Hamilton Democratic Club and the Senior Choice of St. Francis Medical Center.
   Daughter of the late Charles F. Sr. and Emma A. Solan Donahue and sister of the late Mary Agnes Mazukewicz, she is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Donald Donahue of Hamilton, Charles F. Jr. and Clare Donahue of Yardley, Pa., and James and Geraldine Donahue of Columbus; a sister, Sister Dorothy Donahue O.S.F. of St. Raphael’s Convent of Yardville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
   The funeral will be 9 a.m. Oct. 5 at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Holy Angels Church, 1733 S. Broad St.
   Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Charles James
Bullecks
   MOUNT LAUREL – Charles James Bullecks, 78, died Sept. 28 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills.
   Born in Fieldsboro, he lived in Bordentown Township before moving to Mount Laurel.
   Mr. Bullecks retired after 25 years with Church Brick Co., Fieldsboro.
   He was a Navy Armed Guard veteran of World War II.
   He enjoyed wood carving.
   He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlotte Bullecks; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Janet of Lakewood, Colo., Bill and Nancy of Bordentown and Dave and Colleen of Buckfield, Maine; five grandchildren; five nephews; and other relatives.
   Funeral and cremation were private.

Charles W. Fahner
   HAMILTON – Charles W. Fahner, 78, died Sept. 28, at Water’s Edge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Hamilton for more than 40 years.
   Mr. Fahner retired after 20 years as a major in the N.J. Air National Guard. He was a supervisor of maintenance or 25 years with Dow Jones Co. of Mercer County in the aviation department.
   He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
   He was a member of the military T.R.O.A.
   Son of the late William and Anna Fiesler Fahner, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marie Forlenza Fahner; two sons, William of Mercerville and Joseph of Lawrenceville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marianne and Barry Rostash of Bordentown and Carol and Christopher Oberlin of Las Vegas; a sister, Catherine Kropa of Islandia, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Lauren Rostash; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held at Hartman Funeral Home, Mercerville.
   Burial was in the Veterans Cemetery at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.

A. Marie Schroeder
   HAMILTON – A. Marie Schroeder, 90, died Sept. 29, at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
   Born in Trenton, she was a longtime area resident.
   Daughter of the late William and Anna Adrian Lang, wife of the late William H. Schroeder and sister of the late William, Walter, Randolph, Cliff and Raymond Lang, Margaret Stringer, Pauline Bradford, Helen Seydel, Veronica Rainey, Viola Fresch and Loretta Swartz, she is survived by three nieces, Joyce Morris and Vivian Iski, both of Bordentown Township, and Joan Bernard of Houston; and cousins.
   The funeral will be 11 a.m. Oct. 5 at Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 Whitehorse Ave., Hamilton, with the Rev. Roderick B. Mills, pastor of Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church officiating.
   Burial will be in Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery.
   Calling hours will be 10 a.m. until service at the funeral home.

Anastasia M. Ellis
   TRENTON – Anastasia M. Ellis, 36, died Sept. 28 in Hopewell.
   Born in Trenton, she lived in Pasadena, Texas, before returning to Trenton in 1985.
   She worked for more than six years with the City of Trenton and previously worked for the state of New Jersey.
   She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and graduated from Pasadena Central High School in 1981.
   Daughter of the late Lionel A. Ellis Sr., she is survived by her mother, Augustine Ellis of Florence; two daughters, Shayne and Ariana Ellis of Trenton; her fiancé, Anthony Gandley of Unionville, N.Y.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Lionel and Sylvia Ellis of Princeton Junction. Gerard Ellis of Houston and Dr. Cyrus and Deidre Ellis of Martin, Tenn.; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
   Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Oct. 5 at Sacred Heart Church, 343 S. Broad St., Trenton.
   Calling hours will be 9 to 10 a.m. at the church with a Rosary service at 10 a.m.
   Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.

Horbin Chambers
   SOUTHAMPTON – Roberta H. Horbin Chambers, 85, died Sept. 30 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly.
   Born in Trenton, she was a former resident of Bordentown and Fieldsboro before moving to Southampton Township.
   She was an Army veteran of World War II, and was the first female in Fieldsboro to enter the armed services.
   She was head seamstress for the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital for 41 years, from 1936 until her retirement in 1977. She was a member of the American Legion Post #26 in Bordentown and the Burlington County Women’s American Legion Post 351.
   Wife of the late Bernard S. Chambers and mother of the late Dale Ann Carty, she is survived by her daughter and sons-in-law, Priscilla and Terry Harker, and Leon Carty, all of Southampton; and two grandchildren, Scott Andrew Carty and Brian John Carty.
   A memorial service was held at the Page Funeral Home, Burlington City.
   Interment was private at the convenience of the family.
