Rose Pietrefesa Asselto, 96, died Monday at McCarrick Care Center, Somerset.
Born in South Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident of Deans.
She was a communicant of St. Cecilia’s R.C. Church, Monmouth Junction.
Her husband, Anthony Asselto, died in 1992. Her daughter, Barbara DeMarco, died in 1983.
Surviving are her grandson, Nicholas DeMarco of Lawrenceville; three sisters, Filomena Pietrefesa, Lena Ochsner and Ethel Scurato, all of South Brunswick and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be held 8:30 a.m. tomorrow from the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Cecilia’s Church, Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Jamesburg.
Friends and relatives may call between 2 and 4 p.m. and between 7 and 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McCarrick Care Center, 15 Dellwood Lane, Somerset, N.J., 08873.
