HILLSBOROUGH — Frank A. Kotz died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. He was 79.
Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Cooperstown, N.Y., before moving to Neshanic Station 50 years ago.
Mr. Kotz was a union painter for over 40 years, working with District Council 10 before retiring in 1983. He was a merchant marine during World War II.
He was a member of the Hillsborough Senior Citizens.
His sister, Wally Trzoniec, died this year.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Amy Kotz; a son, Stephen A. of Hillsborough; three daughters, Christine Virgilia of Bonair, Ga., Catherine Coburn of Edwards, Colo. and Karen Bruton of Redmond, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Hillsborough Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Mary, Mother of God Church in Hillsborough. Cremation will be private.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
