Lawrence Ledger Athlete of the Week
Dana Verdi is the Lawrence Ledger Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 8.
The senior halfback scored her first two goals of the season Friday and helped the girls team defeat Nottingham, 3-2.
"Dana is the type of player I never have to motivate," said coach Dave Boggs. "She comes to play every practice and every game. She always gives 110 percent."
