H. Genevia Blackwell
   H. Genevia Maple Blackwell, 95, died Friday at home.
   Born in Princeton Township, she was a lifelong Hopewell Borough resident.
   Mrs. Blackwell was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and its Friendship Circle, United Methodist Women and Hopewell 39ers.
   Daughter of the late Morris and Josephine Duncan Maple and wife of the late Edward E., she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie and Norman Fiel of Hopewell Borough and Francina and Charles Case of East Amwell; a sister-in-law, Rachel La Bau of Hamilton Square; six grandchildren, Linda Hardifer of Lawrenceville, John Fiel of Ewing, Allen Fiel of Hopewell Township, Richard Case of Hillsborough, N.C., David Case of Montgomery Township and Douglas Case of Oreland, Pa.; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hopewell United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Robinson officiating.
   Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
   Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cromwell Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St.

Charles A. Schmutz Jr.
   Charles A. Schmutz Jr., 65, died Saturday at home.
   Born in Queens, N.Y., he lived in Hopewell Township 16 years.
   He was a graduate of The Peddie School in Hightstown and Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
   He was store manager for J.C. Penney at Quaker Bridge Mall and a teacher and coach at The Pennington School. He was assistant basketball coach when the team won the State Prep B championship for 1999-2000.
   He was a member of Hopewell Valley Golf Club more than 20 years.
   Son of the late Charles A. Sr. and Helen Rudolph Schmutz, he is survived by his wife, Karen Schmutz; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David J. of Hopewell Township, Christopher A. and Amy Schmutz of Middletown and James C. and Deirdre Schmutz of Gaithersburg, Md.; a daughter and a son-in-law, Anne M. and Greg Peterson of Chester, Conn.; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger G. and Elizabeth Schmutz of Bailey Island, Maine; eight grandchildren, Brittney, Fiona and Patrick Hogan, and Tyler, Trevor and Terence Schmutz, and Sean and Emily Peterson; and a niece.
   Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pennington Presbyterian Church, 13 S. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. Suzanne Schaefer-Coates officiating.
   Burial will be private.
   Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle.
