Denise "Niecey" Beckett

   PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP – Denise "Niecey" Beckett, 42, died Oct. 30 at home.
   Born in Trenton, she lived in Browns Mills.
   Mrs. Beckett worked in the banking industry 21 years.
   She was a 15-year member of First Baptist Church of Eggerts Crossing, president of its Trustee Board and Pastor Aide Auxiliary, and member of its Ambassadors for Christ Choir. She had been a member of its Gospel Choir and director of the Starlight Choir.
   Mrs. Beckett attended Trenton schools and recently graduated from Burlington County College with a degree in computer science.
   Daughter of the late Alice Hopkins, she is survived by her father and stepmother, Oscar and Louis Brooks of Browns Mills; her husband, Henry; two daughters, Joy and Faith Beckett; a son, Kori; a grandson, Emanuel Eldridge; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ronald and Cheryl Brooks of Pennsauken and Michael Brooks of Trenton; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Charles Wooding Jr. of Ewing; a sister-in-law, Valerie Jackson of Trenton; two brothers-in-law, Kenny and Ronald Beckett of Lawrenceville; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends, including Yolanda Smith, Rene Benjamin and Thomas Robinson.
   Funeral was at First Baptist Church of Eggerts Crossing, Lawrence, with the Rev. Johnnie Huff, pastor, officiating.
   Burial was in Ewing Cemetery.
   Arrangements are by J.W. Travis Funeral Home, Trenton.
