‘Tellabration 2000’ is storytime for adults

Jersey Shore Storytelling will present the sixth annual "Tellabration" at 8 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Parish Center of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck. Proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity. According to a news release, this annual night of storytelling for adults was created in 1987 in Connecticut by J.G. Pinkerton and came to New Jersey in 1994. Storytelling is the oldest form of theatrical art and is enjoying a revival, particularly in the United States. Tellabration 2000 will feature 10 professional storytellers. Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the door or by calling Habitat for Humanity at (732) 308-3400.
