In reply to Maryanne Toto’s letter of Nov. 8, how dare she imply that the children of Manalapan-Englishtown have no respect or manners. As a resident for 29 years and a parent of three children born and raised in Manalapan, I am extremely angry and upset with Ms. Toto’s claim that Manalapan-Englishtown children have not been raised with manners and respect.
Ms. Toto, as a former Manalapan resident and past president of the Manalapan-Eng-lishtown Regional School District Board of Education, was your child the only child raised with respect and manners? I don’t think so.
My husband and I have been employed by the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District for the past 15 years, and we have contact every day with pleasant, respectful and well-mannered children.
I am also a well-known baby sitter in Manalapan and have been in charge of numerous well-disciplined, respectful and well-mannered children.
Maryanne Toto owes all parents and children of Manalapan-Englishtown a written apology for her lack of respect and professionalism.
