GOP candidate grateful for the opportunity to run in So. Brunswick

This past April I was honored to be chosen, along with Joe Del Guercio and Ted Van Hessen, to represent the Republican Party in our Township Council election. It has been an experience I won’t forget.

There are many people I must thank for allowing me this opportunity. I want to thank my husband, Bob, and son, Bobby, for their support and understanding, even though they have suffered by my absence. I’d like to thank my friends who have supported me in many ways. I’d also like to thank the people of South Brunswick, who have proved to me again and again they are intelligent voters who ask pointed and insightful questions, proving they do follow and understand the issues facing them in the election process.

I want to thank the members of my party who have been so supportive of me as the new kid on the block. I owe so very much to Roger Craig, who has been my mentor, and who has helped me more than he’ll ever know. I also want to thank Andre Gruber and Ken Fee, and Stew Lapidus and Doug Hoffman, who have helped us with the many campaign details, and Jack Grimes, our campaign manager, who has faced many challenges and still kept us on track.

Finally, I want to say a special thanks to Joe and Ted. I knew Joe previously through recreational sports programs, but I really got to know him in this campaign, and I’ve met few people willing to work as diligently as he for South Brunswick.

It has been a special privilege to meet and campaign with Ted Van Hessen. I consider it a rare and special honor to have been on his team.
