Georgian Court College (Lakewood) women’s cross country coach Kerwin Lanz was named the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference Women’s Coach of the Year. Lanz, who lives in Howell and also coaches the Manalapan High School indoor and outdoor girls’ track and field teams, led the Lions to the CACC Championship this fall and a trip to the NAIA National Championships in Kenosha, Wis., on Nov. 18. At the CACC Championship, Belmont Plateau, Pa., Georgian Court placed five runners in the top 10 to dominate the event.
